Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veit grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veit. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Mardred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Server, but she was a colossal failure. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunnloda embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After a long history of fighting, Gunnloda and her spouse have recently divorced.
