History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Nuraval has worked very hard to control his curse. He struck the Knight job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and balancing his hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
