She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born in a small desert village. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Valafar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Giselle was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.
