Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants revenge against drow

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is typically in his Beggar uniform. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He now owns his own business.

Description: 5'6" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears suspenders and pastel workpants. Her shirt is blue, and she wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. Her fur is cut close to her head. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Flame was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flame's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Hatae was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Hatae never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a crown-heir and was forced into it by her family

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a very tight haircut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Halander and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 4'4" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He uses divination through singing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
