History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Lilli was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Pearl's homeland. Pearl decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Menny was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
