Personality: He is a Miller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Carlin grew up listening to her mother's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born in the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Serpent liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
