History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Efferil embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the north. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Efferil has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has worked as a Map Maker like her mother before her.

History: She was born in the west. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
