History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hatae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hatae. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
