After a long history of fighting, Paela and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Merchant father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Anne is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
