History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Barendd was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Richard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
