History: Ronobe was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Architect arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Burgell was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Burgell's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A freak accident while working with her Sellsword mother left her crippled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
