History: Born to a Bricklayer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Smoking alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Weaver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Weaver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Weaver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
