History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Merla grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Merla. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dazzazn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
