History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She tends to her Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fistula grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fistula. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: An older man who dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His crest, while still mostly gold, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mercenary business.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is cut close to her head. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: The child of a Bounty Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Theirastra was taken on many hunting expeditions. When Theirastra reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She bought a whip and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a Layabout, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
