Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His green crest is knotted and matted. His red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shedinn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is greedy

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

She has a hunchback. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her shortbow with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'2" when asserting herself. She has wavy brass crest. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She became a Tanner soon after.

She prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available she will default to her scimitar. She is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around her ears. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and wants to work out more often

Description: He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with white slacks. He carries a battered rapier and tarnished lance as well. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melech fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
