History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A freak accident while working with his Barber mother left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with his Barber father left him crippled. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Morthos and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Cloud reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Detective, but he got bored and became a Banker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and revenge

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable
