Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Galinndan embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Galinndan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Thiala is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Oren was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zaffrab will drive conversation. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has worked as a Cook like his mother before him.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
