Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gifted student he started as a Tailor, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult

History: Megren lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His scarlet crest is smooth and relatively long. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length red hair. Her violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
