History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Ratak is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Serpent was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Serpent's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Enialis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Enialis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
