History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

History: Savaran was born with her father's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has worked as a Beggar like her father before her.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull brown iron scale mail, marred by teas. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Paelias is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Surina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Fisher, but she got bored and became a Roofer. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and expand her business

History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she wants revenge against goblins

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Glassblower, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Igden hails from a village terrorized by goblins. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.
