Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shortbow use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Artin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
