Courier work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Burana lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Kairon was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
