History: He was born at the edge of vast island. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Alston never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is chestnut and very short. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Finellen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After months of barely getting by, Finellen managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stylist.

Description: A 5'5" northern man, he wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Rael lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
