History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her ceremonial dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. She has wavy chestnut hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are black.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Makaria liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Makaria and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Birel is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Birel was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a great chef.
History: Gifted from a young age, Harbek studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Harbek fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She got into the Doctor business at a young age. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. A true patriot, Gennal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
