History: He comes from a rich southern family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
