Description: A middle-aged man, he is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats, and is pretty ugly. His yellow fur is matted, messy, and big. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Stableman business.

History: Sweet was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Description: This woman typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on her left hand. Her crest is silver, silky, and of moderate length. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: She is wearing a long, brown cloak. She carries with her a set of flails on her belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. She has a dull look in her green eyes.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
