History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and her spouse have recently divorced.

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Gifted from a young age, Flask studied abroad. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Shane was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mason born in the past three hundred years. Tim is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Tim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has achieved small success as a Mason.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
