History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Grai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Grai. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Butcher for the past few years.
