He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Bounty Hunter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vaina studied abroad. A gifted student she started as a Mortician, but she got bored and became a Server. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Pushkrimp lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
