History: He is a Slaad in disguise. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Ruler. During his travels, Curran and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Curran discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Curran fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Portia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Portia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a Animal Trainer soon after.
