History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. At a young age his father died while driving off some orcs. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in axe use. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Prâk was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: The child of a Butcher, who enjoyed hunting, Senteq was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Through the years after Baelitae was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Baelitae's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Baelitae and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gale was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
