History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in the west to a Sailor, Erias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Erias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Erias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Assassin business.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to end his boredom

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bather who has hired her part-time. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
