Description: This malnourished man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Arumawann hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is an amazing painter.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arumawann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a longbow on his belt. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has blue eyes and a tan hat with a black feather.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Berrian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available she will default to her falchion. Her chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull tan iron scale mail. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. During his travels, Morkral and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Morkral discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Morkral fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Maegan is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Maegan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: She stands about 4'7" and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her eyes are gold and catlike.
Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Merchant business.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Direcris grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Direcris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Direcris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has achieved small success as a Stableman.
