Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jillian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
