Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Weaver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Mella was born with her father's beautiful face. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
