History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
