History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Alston was a troubled youth. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Uthemar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Knight mother left him crippled. He became a Baker soon after.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
