History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and she wants revenge against goblins

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Verna was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
