Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Beast was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beast fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. She struck the Fortune-teller job and began her own company from there.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Torinn has worked very hard to control his curse. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
