To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She is a Beggar first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a great chef.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. When Mialee reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mialee fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his trident, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: Mordai wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Mordai was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Navigator. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Himo learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Himo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
