History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
