History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Thakrak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around her ears. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Map Maker who has hired her part-time. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Quick was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
