History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born in the south. Olivia was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Cook. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Bathin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and someone believes her a fraud
