Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. He keeps his long bronze crest kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are red and catlike.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Quarethon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Quarethon was taken on many hunting expeditions. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Shepherd kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a grey vest and prefers brown and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His white hair is thinning but still full. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Alberich reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This man is very fat, and likes to wear brown tank tops with tan pants. His fur is black and curly. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Moon hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Moon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.
