History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gildmak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Glassblower, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Morgran was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Morgran took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Morgran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Orla's homeland. Orla decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Zog lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and doesn't want to be a carpenter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She struck the Weaver job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Gildmak is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory.
