In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bilga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Keyleth was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: This woman is very fat, and dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with white slacks. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Dadalan was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When Dadalan reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
