History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Geva hails from a village terrorized by brigands. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.
