Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Cartwright. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Fragrant hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Portia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Portia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Patrin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to reunite with his old friends

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Junk Dealer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
