History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
