History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Baradad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the south to a Soapmaker, Merla learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently the stress of being a Soapmaker has made it difficult for her to sleep.

A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Uraim was born the youngest of three triplets. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants revenge against goblins

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Habor was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
